It's time to show some card using So Suzy stamps because of February Celebration over at So Suzy blog. I love Fancy Butterfly stamp, it's quite big aprox 8,5 x 6,5 cm and I was thinking how to play up with it. By the way, the theme of February is Someone special with the technique Masking. So I decided to make a shaker card.
Let's move on to some step out instructions.
I took a piece of heat resistant acetate, cleaned it off some dust and little something with a wet then a dry baby cloth.
Stamped the image onto some separate piece of paper to create two masks.
Prepared the acetate to heat embossing using anti static powder. Cover it with powder thoroughly. Stamped and then heat embossed the butterfly in the center of the panel with Ranger Super fine silver embossing powder.
Then covering the butterfly with masks each time heat embossed the whole panel. See those gaps around each impression? It was made purposely. I just shifted the masks a bit to make those blank borders.
Later on I made a frame and created a shaker card in an ordinary way filling it with silver holographic sequins, silver and clear beads. For the sentiment I used different stripes of cardstock to match the whole design. Love that silver sparkling one. I made it with glitter tape adhered to some scrap piece of cardstock.
Also added three butterflies cut out of some scrapbooking paper and covered with Nuvo Crystal Glitter Drops White Blizzard.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!
