Hello there!
Do you remember that Blue Skies stamp set by Lawn Fawn? I clearly remember that I was absolutely in love with it several years ago and this set became the first in my future Lawn Fawn collection, I still love it and decided to use it for Lawn Fawnatics new challenge #9 called Color Inspiration Board with five yummy bright colors.
➤To create this card I used Lawn Fawn Blue Skies stamp set, Smitty's ABCs alphabet set for the banner and Puffy Cloud Borders to create a mask.
I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with alcohol Chameleon pens. Next step was very interesting to me and I expected this result. I covered some segments of the balloon with Nuvo Glitter Grops - White Blizzard and Nuvo Crystal Drops - Morning Dew, you know that you shouldn't dry them with a heat gun otherwise they would look warped and milky. I needed this deformation to get some sort of texture on the balloon. So here it is :)) It looks very interesting especially with a simple design like this.
For the background I used Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks, them sponged cloud shapes with a cloud border mask (I created out of acetate and Puffy Cloud Borders die by Lawn Fawn) and white pigment Ink Bites - Angel Wings by So Suzy.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have an amazing day!
