Masculine birthday card

Hello there!

I heard that many of crafters were struggling with masculine designs for their cards. I don't think that it's a big problem to make a masculine card as long as you don't think that all men cards should contain gears, or smth with techy feel, you know. For me masculine cards are the same as feminine without flowers of course and they can be the same bright and cheerful.

My friend ( a man) had his birthday a couple of months ago ( yes!! belated card) and I know for sure that he needs a very cheerful card to lift him up ( that apathism sucks).

I like my Distress Oxide inks so much but never tried Tim Holtz's favorite demo techniques with bright inky puddles. It turned out interesting. I was waiting for my parcel with all the rest Oxides to come and decided to mix Oxides i had with several regular Distress Inks. I was careful not to make mud out of it and the result was very pretty.

I used:

Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink

Fossilized Amber DistressOxide ink

Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink

Broken China Distress Oxide ink

Seedless Preserves Distress ink

It's your birthday stamp by Crackerbox Stamps

I love making double shaker elements on one card, it looks very attractive.

I also like small sentiments that fit even a small square frame like this. The entire card measures 10x10cm. Love this size so much :) so you can imagine how small this sentiment is. It's Birthday stamp by Crackerbox stamps.

Tropical Birthday card

Hello there, crafty friends!

It's been awile since I posted my last video tutorial and I don't why I stopped filming, maybe too many things to do and I just got tired of all that stuff. But now I decided to revive the channel, I hope it will last longer than before )) And today I'm glad to share with you Tropical Birthday card. I filmed it awile ago and the material was waiting for the moment to see the light :) So here it is :)

I think of this card more as a masculine variant. Even though it's quite bright against the black background, it's mole like restrained with embellishments.

Materials used:

- White cardstock

- Black cardstock

- Simon Says Stamp - Green Apple Premium dye ink

- So Suzy Ink Bites - Mermaid Mist ink

- Distress Oxide - Cracked Pistachio

- Lesia Zgharda stamp - FL188 (monstera leaf)

- Lesia Zgharda stamp - TA135 (sentiment)

- Nuvo Glitter Drops - White Blizzard

- Enamel dots

I love you, Pumpkin!

Hello there!

Several hours ago I came across MFT new Sketch challenge #347 and it inspired me so hard, so I decided to make a card ASAP. I have a good reason. Tomorrow we have a 5th wedding anniversary and I'm happy to present this card to my Pumpkin hubby :)

I used:

Harvest Mouse stamps set by MFT

Peek-a-Boo circle Window dies by MFT

 PTI alphabet dies

brick patterned stencil

Frayed Burlap Distress ink

Walnut Stain Distress ink

alcohol Chameleon pens for coloring

Wink of stella glitter pen

I clearly remember those days when all the sets with Harvest Mouse were sold out for several weeks and I chased for it several months until I got it and we never were apart since then. I didn't do too much with it but I loves looking at it ))) weird, right?!)) Today I made a card and loved them even more, co cute mice.

Have you notice my mouse wears a sweater )) ?! But no pants

My universe card ft Lawn Fawn

Hello there!

Finally I found time for my favorite challenge blog with Lawn Fawn products called Lawn Fawnatics, because I simple couldn't miss any of their challenges. This time it's called - #10 Custom Sentiments. I do love custom sentiments,  they bring smth personal to the cards. And... I made a love card to my hubby with my fave theme ever- universe, galaxy , stars... so you understand what I mean))

One brilliant idea came to my mind - to die cut a panel with Snowy Backdrop die by Lawn Fawn and make it a galaxy with constellations connecting those dots and stars with a white gel pen. Now I don't need to buy some extra contellation background stamps as I can make my own with Lawn Fawn die. That's amazing. Before using a white gel pen I sponged the panel with Oxide inks in Broken China + Faded Jeans, framed with Chipped Sapphire regular Distress ink. Sprinkled some water to get that awesome oxidized effect. 

To send my critters from Joy to the Woods set by Lawn Fawn to space I needed to make two helmets with silver circle die cuts and pieces of vellum. Colored my animals with alcohol Chameleon pens and pencils.

To make the sentiment I used my fave Smitty's ABCs alphabet set by Lawn Fawn.

So I used the following LF products:

- Snowy Backdrop die

- Joy to the Woods stamp set

- Smitty's ABCs stamp set

Surprise Birthday Blog Hop

Hello there, dear crafters!!

Today's a big day, we've made a surprise blog hop for our lovely Maurie Manning to celebrate her upcoming birthday!!! Yay! 

Dear Mo, I know you're reading it now ❤ Happy upcoming birthday to you! You are not only a super talented artist but also a fabulous person I have a chance to know. May your life be full with the same emotions I have when I look at your digital stamps ( more particularly: delight, pleasant excitement, happiness and scream for joy). Hug you super tight!!!

And now to the blog hop! If you're following our designers' chain, you perhaps have come here from my adorable teamie Elin. And here's my card. We all used one and the same digital stamp by Mo's digital pencil called Look, Ma! -  a cute little boy with big achievements. This is Mo's favorite image.

I decided to make a simple desing ( as always:)) to attract more attention to the colored image. I colored it with alcohol Chameleon pens and some accents with wax based Chameleon pencils. For the background i used diy cloud border stencil and Broken China Distress Oxide. The sentiment was by CASual Fridays - Mon Ami, which I stamped with white pigment Ink Bite - Angel Wings by So Suzy stamps. I alsolutely in love how the whole card turned out!

Petabytes of Love или Валентинка

Всем привет!

Ох и долго я не скрапила, недели полторы точно и это было прекрасно)) Но наше новое задание в блоге Мемуарис Brand Challenge с производителем Polkadot расшевелило меня и я сделала валентинку мужу. Стараюсь делать для семьи заранее, потому что потом дела или заказы отнимут время, а открытки последних минут - это не открытки для меня.

Итак, в работе использвала два листочка из колеекций "Папа может все" и "#школа". Для чего я выбрала именно эти листы, во-первых, я люблю медведей, особенно таких чудных нарисованных. во-вторых, искала изображения всяких гаджетов, типа телефонов, ноутов и пр. 

Мы с мужем познакомились очень давно в интернете и стали переписываться, много лет переписываться)) И эта валентинка нелишнее напоминание о том, как все начиналось) Часы разговоров по телефону, годы разговоров в интернете, литры кофе и петабайты любви (так переводится фраза на открытке). Петабайт - самая большая известная на сегодня единица измерения количества информации. К тому же, муж - программист. Так что все сошлось как нельзя лучше в этой открытке. 

Ноутбуки, наушники, телефоны, и медведи в одном окне. Символично. Переписываясь на расстоянии, мы были по разным окнам как вернтуальным, так и стеклянным. Вон они теперь пустые по обеим сторонам открытки, а сейчас два медведя вместе в одном окне, наконец-то :)

Masculine envelope или Этно конверт

Всем привет!

Сегодня у нас в Магии Творчества вышло задание - коллекция месяца. И коллекцией стало "Этно", синяя, ягодная, со зверями с огромными прекрасными глазами. В общем, красота.

У меня получился конверт с закрывашкой, в которую просовывается  сам конверт. Вообще это открытка в виде конверта. Она открывается и внутри можно писать послание. Создавался конверт как мужской :)

Dream Big или Мечтай по-крупному

It's Sunday, it's me :) with another card for Mo's dream team. This time it's a funny birthday card with a cute hamster whose dream obviously has come true :)

Всем привет!

Воскресенье  - день работ для команды Мо с ее же классными цифровыми штампами. На этот раз у меня открытка на день рождения с хомячиной, чья мечта. видимо, сбылась.

I made a very simple design as the main focus was directed to the colored image. By the way, I used Cupcake Hamster image by Mo Manning and colored it with Chameleon pens. 

Дизайн очень незамысловатый, потому что хотелось сфокусировать внимание именно на изображении. Это Cupcake Hamster, ссылка выше. Раскрасила его спиртовыми маркерами Chameleon.

To make the eyes more interesting I used Enamel Accents in black by Ranger. Love this product.

Глазкам добавила объема с помощью эмалевых акцентов от Рейнджер.

Falling Leaves

It's my turn now to work with So Suzy stamps and it's a great pleasure I have to say. I cannot stop making Fall theme card although I'm already in Christmasy mood. 

This time I created a simple but pretty card with Beech Line Leaf which is my absolutely favorite of all times. 

A few words about the process. 

1. I prepped a card base out of kraft cardstock, some dark panel and a wood patterned paper panel which is slightly smaller than the previous one. 

2. Using super fine detail clear embossing powder I heat embossed the leaves onto watercolor cardstock. 

3. To add some color to the leaves I used distress inks: Peacock Feathers, Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, Scattered Straw. The idea is to relax and color outside the lines :)

4. Then I cut the leaves leaving those colorful borders, place onto a wood patterned paper with foam tape to make them look dimensional.

5. The final step - is to add a sentiment and some bits and pieces with sequins.

 I was truly inspired by October Mood Board over at Butterfly Reflections ink blog and I'd like to participate there.

Я немного с опозданием, но думаю, это даже на пользу. Пришла показать вам недавно вышедший релиз от Lesia Zgharda. Даже два - июль и август. Они потрясные, а сколько еще интересного вас ждет впереди... Сами штампы можно посмотреть тут. 

Мне очень нравятся открытки осенней тематики и здесь так здорово подошла Спящая мышь. Все использованные здесь штампы вы можете найти по ссылке выше.

Раскрашивала я спиртовыми маркерами Chameleon, так здорово, что все цвета яркие и такие насыщенные, как и сама осень. 

Мышь эта спит в дупле, или норке, где все устлано листьями.

Слово Hello так же является штампом LZ, который я покрыла глосси акцентом, а наклеечки от Fancy Pants. 

А фон затонирола дистресс чернилами Walnut Stain через самодельный трафарет. 

Одеялко ее я дорисовала узором, имитируя вязаный паттерн.

Потихоньку начинаю разгребаться с работами и публиковать тут, снова накопила постов на 10, но в этот раз не буду постить все вместе. Итак, работа для Комнаты вдохновения и блога Lesia Zgharda, где есть мастер-класс на эту открытку.

Вот как-то мне легко и весело представился сюжет этой открытки. Надеюсь, никто не воспримет ее серьезно))

Вот так гуляешь по лесу и не знаешь, чем занимаются животные в данный момент :)

Mo's Blog Hop - Autumn

Actually it's my most fave season with those bright leaves, cold air, deep gray sky, rain and harvest time. For the card I've chose Pumpkins image, colored with Chameleon pens.

Тема данного блог хопа - Осень. Мое одно из самых любимых времен года, да что уж там, самое любимое -  с дождями, яркими листьями, серым небом и непогодой. Плохая погода меня очень успокаивает.

В этой работе использовала штамп Тыквы, ссылка выше. Изображение раскрасила маркерами Chameleon.

I tried to make a cozy autumn card on my husband's sister birthday.

Старалась сделать теплую уютную осеннюю открытку на день рождения сестры мужа ( да как-то сложно написала)))

It seems very simple card but even though I try to add something interesting to it. I covered the pumpkins with a thick coat of Glossy Accents and deepen my Happy word die-cut in it. Like the effect.

Кажется, что открытка до безобразия простая, но даже в этом случае я стараюсь добавить что-то , на мой взгляд. интересное. Покрыла тыквы толстым слоем Глосси и утопила в нем слово Happy.

Я так рада вернуться из отпуска, и там классно было, и дома очень хорошо. Скучала по материалам, пересматривала фотки и думала над новыми работами, рисовала новые штампы (пока эта часть моей деятельности под вопросом, но даже сам этот вопрос уже приятен мне)) Итак, мои работы за несколько недель до отъезда, которые я не успела показать, но люблю их как и прежде.

В блоге Memuaris было задание на палитру, очень клевое, хоть и не очень легкое для меня на первый взгляд. Откладывала работу над ней почти до последнего, но потом на следующий день села и сразу же сделала очень быстро.

Очень люблю эту работу еще и за то, что использовала набор штампов Fresh Cut Florals от Wplus9. Хотела этот набор еще год назад и все никак не получалось с ним встретиться. Зато теперь наштамповалась вдоволь, МИСТИ тут просто отличный помощник.

Фоновая бумага от Мемуариса, называется "Счастье - это...",  да да, теперь они еще и бумагу выпускают, дебют и очень прикольный, надо отметить.

Как же я люблю эту команду!!! Столько разных людей, столько вдохновения и идей. Если кто-то еще не знает, каждый первый четверг месяца в челлендж блоге Мо стартует задание на свободную тему, но с обязательным использованием изображений от Мо. Мы как дизайнеры тоже участвуем. Посмотреть всех можно в блоге.

Моя работа посвящена Новому году и любви к белкам :) Использовала изображение - Winter Delivery.

Кто со мной более или менее знаком, знает, как я люблю круги, у меня много открыток с круглыми элементами или в форме круга, в общем, люблю я и все тут :) У меня даже украшения круглые :)

Открытка - проще некуда, но я ее так люблю. Для фона взяла елочек от Скрапштампинг и покрыла их клеем с блестками. Три елки на заднем плане являются частью фона, а на переднем плане - отдельные элементы.

Все изображения раскрашены маркерами Chameleon.

Если вы читаете это сообщение, значит я уже ускакала отдыхать ( слава Богу наступил этот момент) и приготовила вам немного вдохновения или настроения :), запланировав несколько постов.

Сегодня воскресенье, а значит время показывать работы с моими любимыми цифровыми штампами  от Mo Manning.

Все изображения раскрашены маркерами Chameleon. Звездой открытки здесь выступает изображение с тыквами ( кушать их не люблю, люблю смотреть) - которое так и называется Pumpkins. 

Фоновая бумага была однотонная, я решила ее "развеселить" и сделала горячий эмбоссинг листьев прозрачной пудрой. Окошко вырубила с помощью ножа MFT Peek-a-Boo Windows.

За окошком находится пакетик с желтыми блестками.

Кстати, про листья, те, что раскрашенные: Листья №2 Mr Painter, а справа от Lesia Zgharda.
