Day 14/15 | Holiday card series 2017

Hello there, dear friends!
Yesterday I was too tired to post anything so here are the latest cards of my Holiday card series 2017 featuring So Suzy stamps. So here is card # 14

I really like non traditional colors I used and actually there's nothing unusual about a pink Christmas card nowadays)) 

 I used:

Spirit of Christmas stamp

The steps here are quite simple. I heat embossed all the snowflakes in clear powder, sponged Distress Oxide inks on top. Then stamped the sentiment onto a strip of vellum with Jet Black Archival Ink and then heat embissed in clear as well to make it shiny. Adhered the ends of the strip to the back side of the panel. Embellished with die cut snowflakes and clear Nuvo drops in Morning Dew.

Card # 15 and the last one:

I call this card "Who ate all the candy canes?" :)

I used:

Snowman Joy So Suzy stamp

I wanted him to look a bit different and more complicated. So I decided to make a small shaker card. I stamped the Snowman three times : one for the entire image, second - for the scarf and the third time - for the snowdrift he was standing in.

I colored the imgae with alcohol Chameleon pens. Die cut a circle inside the snowman. The additional scarf would cover the cut area.

I neeeded candy canes too fill in the shaker but had neither stamp nor appropriate die. But I found the wau out  -  I had alphabet dies and the letter J matched there perfectly. I drew the stripes with a white gel pen. Covered the scarf with Wink of stella shimmer.

Day 13| Holiday card Series 2017 ft So Suzy Stamps

Hello there, lovelies!

How are you? I'm very excited to share with you my card #13 of the Holiday card series 2017 featuring So Suzy stamps. This card is all about gold heat embossing and watercoloring.

I used:

Poinsettia stamp by So Suzy 

Pinecone Sm by So Suzy

Merry Christmas brush ( sentiment) stamp by So Suzy

I stamped the Poinsettia  and the Pinecone Sm several times onto watercolor paper using Emboss It clear ink by Ranger and heat embossed it gold. For coloring I used Prima Decadent Pies confections watercolors.

I cut apart all the pieces of the Poinsettia to have leaces and flowers separately. I also cut all the flowers in half and arranged all the elements in circle. The next step was to die cut a circle and heat emboss the sentiment.

Day 12 | Holiday card series 2017 ft So Suzy stamps

Hello there, lovelies!

Organazing my craft space makes me post  here late at night (it's midnight here) but I still love doing it and share my cards with you!!!

So today I tried a bit different technique with my So Suzy stamps - paper piecing. It's perfect for those who don't like coloring and nightmare for those who hates fussy cutting :)

I like both coloring and fussy cutting but wanted to share with you another way of using outline stamps rather than simply color it.

I used:

Olesya's Car (yes, my design :) So Suzy stamp

Gifts Pile (again my design :) So Suzy stamp

Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops

Here are some steps:

I stamped Olesya's Car three times: two times on 2 separate pieces of red cardstock and one time on white. Cut several pieces of the car out of one of the red sheets, sponged them with Walnut Stain Distress ink to add dimension and those tiny pieces like headlights and side mirrors out of white cardstock and colored them in with Chameleon pens. 

I popped up bonnet, fenders with some foam tape and those tiny pieces were adhered directly to the base car.

Here you can see all the dimension.

Headlights were covered with Nuvo Morning Dew drops. I also stamped the Gifts Pile onto white cardstock and colored them in with Chameleon pens ( as i was lazy to cut out all those tiny presents).

I left a tiny white stripe at the very bottom of the pile to adhere it to the back side of the car's roof.

I die cut a square panel ( 9,5x9,5cm) and a circle in it. Put a piece of patterned paper under it and placed the panel with a car on top with foam tape.

Day 11 | Holiday Card Series 2017 ft So Suzy Stamps

Hello there!

Today I was super buzy swatching all my inks and oxides and it took forever to complete the misssion) that's why I'm posting this late. But I know for sure that several of you are waiting for these cards and here I am:) with sparkling eyes and gratitude in my heart for all your support!

I really love today's card ( like any other) :)

I used:

Coffee stain stamp

Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink

Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink

City Scape stamp

Santa Sleigh Sm stamp

Spirit of Christmas stamp

I die cut a circle and sponged it with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink and then using the same ink stamped the Coffee stain  on top to create a moon. 

I took the panel 9,5x9,5 cm and sponged it with Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. Stamped the City Scape twice in Jet Black Archoval ink and Faded Jeans Disress Oxide ink.

I placed the city in two rows and stamped the Santa Sleigh Sm in Jet Black Archival ink across the moon. Make sure to color in those gaps where the impression isn't perfect with a black marker.

To make a blizzard i used white acrylic paint ans a small brush. For the sentiment I took PTI alphabet dies and one word from the sentiment Spirit of Christmas masking off the excess.

Day 10 | Holiday card series 2017 ft So Suzy Stamps

Hello there, crafty friends!

Day 10 already, can you imagine that ?! Time flies so fast. But I'm so happy to share smth holidays related every day with you :)

I used:

Santa Sleigh and 8 Reindeer So Suzy stamp

Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink

I took a panel which is 9,5x 9.5 cm ( the base was 10x10 cm) and sponged it with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink and a bit of Black Soot Distress ink on top to darken up the sky.  Then using a die cut circle and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink I made a moon. With white acrylic paint and a tiny brach I made falling snow.

I really love this Santa Sleigh and 8 Reindeer So Suzy stamp which I colored with my Chameleon pens and fussy cut with scissors. For the window I took one 9,5x9,5cm square die and one 4x4cm square die which i cut four times inside the large one. 

I adhered a piece of acetate to the back side of my window, applied a bit of liquid glue to the corners and sprinkled some dry clear glitter to imitate frost.  For the sentiment i used ChaiChat stickers by Tim Holtz. Stuck all elements together and my card was done!

Day 9 | Holiday card series 2017 ft So Suzy stamps

Hello there, crafty friends!

Day 9 of my Holiday card series and the more I do the more I want to do)) Feel like a hamster in wheel :)

Today's card is with a traditional Christmas wreath. We have no such tradition in Russia it's more of Europe and US custom. I know that wreath and circle is a symbol of life and so on but In Russia wreaths are accosiated with funerals. They are put to the grave. And did my best to get rid of that accosiation in my mind as Christmas wreaths are just stunning and they give such a festive look to the doors or any other place.

I used:

Peace by Terri So Suzy stamp

Bow Sm So Suzy stamp

Some steps:

First I stamped the Wreath with SSS Green Apple ink to have a guide for my further work with alcohol Chameleon pens.

I drew the wreath on top of a stamped one with my Chameleon pens and then heat embossed the same image in gold on top, swiping off the areas with berries. I used the stanps as tinsel to my wreath.

For the sentiment I used Peace by Terri stamp on a piece of vellum. First I stamped it with Jet Black Archoval ink and then heat embossed in clear. 

For the berries  I used red enamel dots embellishments. I also heat embosssed my Bow Sm So Suzy stamp and colored it in with Chameleon pens.

Day 8 | Holiday card series 2017 ft So Suzy Stamps

I'm a bit behind with my posting but  I'll catch up with it very soon :) So Hello hello hello, dear friends! I'm so happy to read your comments on my Instagram and Facebook it encourages me to continue with even more inspiration in my head)) Thank you so much for that!!! ❤
I really love today's card.

I used:

 Broken China Oxide Ink

 Faded Jeans Oxide Ink

Buck and Doe set of 2  So Suzy stamps

Spruce Tree So Suzy stamps

Here're some steps:

I sponged the top part of the panel with  Broken China Oxide Ink. It blended very smoothly.

Make the background dry for better stamping results. Using the same  Broken China Oxide Ink stamped the futher row of  trees with Spruce Tree So Suzy stamp.

The medium row was stamped with the same image but  Faded Jeans Oxide Ink. Make sure all the layes are dry before stamping the next one. And the last row was stamped with Jet Black Archival ink. With dylited white acrylic paint and a tiny brush I made splatters like falling snow.

I stamped the  Doe Sm So Suzy stamp at the background using the same black ink. Then cut out a snowbank and covered it with glue and dry sparkling glitter. Then stamped the Buck Sm So Suzy stamp , cut him out and placrd on top of the snow. I like puns :) so chose these ChitChat stickers by Tim Holtz as my sentiment.
