December Release Blog Hop | Studio Katia

Hello there, sweet friends!

Today's a December Release day at Studio Katia blog/store. Oh my, so many sweet goodies. Super happy to take part in this Blog Hop and celebrate it with the entire team.

I used an amazing set called Blooming Bunch. What I love about this set is that it has different types of sentimets, super versatile!

This card was super easy to make, only coloring was time consuming. I stamped the image with my MISTI tool in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colored with my Chameleon pens and pencils. Cut out with scissors leaving small whote borders. Then aprox in the center of the bunch I cut a small rectange the same size as the sentiment. Adhered it flat to the base and popped up the rest with foam squares. The sentiment was heat embossed in white.

 And the finishing touches were these cool minty embellishments called Mint Dream Crystals. It's a mix of mint, clear and iridescent crystals.

Friends of Winter card | Studio Katia

Hello there, dear friends!!

How are you? Are you running about the house and screaming that Christmas is almost here and I'm not ready yet?! No? Me too))) To tell you the truth I made several cards just for fun, cz I had lots of inspiration when I got these Studio Katia products, therefore I just need time to show them and write some words for my posts here :)

You know I 'm completely in love with cute creatures and this set is not an exception :)

I colored this adorable elf with my Chameleon pens. To stamp the sentiment I used Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink. Still impressed how cool they stamp :)

One trick i love the most with these cute creatures by Studio Katia ( there's elf, Santa, raindeer and snowman in this set) is to cover their large eyes with Morning Dew Nuvo Drops and they become so shiny and round, aweee :) So cool!

Bright autumn card + Video ft So Suzy stamps

Hello there, dear crafters!

Today is an awesome autumn day like any other but rain here makes it even better for me :) I wish I could share my feelings with you, and the only way to do it via my projects to inspire you and make everybody's day a bit brighter.
So today's card is all about fresh but warm autumn with bright leaves and drops of rain featuring So Suzy stamps.

Mushroom Sprite card

Hello there, crafty friends!

I'm a bit late with this card but i have lots of good excuses))was busy with drawings, watercolor practicing and so on and so forth :) But today I'm here and ready to share with you a card I've made for Chameleon team to celebrate upcoming World Cardmaking Day. I've been cardmaking since 2011, can you imagine that ?! Time flies so fast. But I'm so happy I tried tons of different materials, techniques, met a crowd of wonderful crafty people, this journey is simply amazing, I really love what i do!

The main focus here given to this adorable Mushroom Sprite by Aurora Wings and Chameleon pens ( alcohol markers) I used to color all the images.

Hello, friend card

Hello there, crafty friends!

I like fairies so much and Mo's digital pencil store has tons of them, they all are so cuute! This cutie is from a set called 3 baby fairies. Just look at that lady bug!  Do you know that we have challenges at Facebook here and this month it's a sketch.

I colored the image with alcohol Chameleon pens and some accents with Chameleon pencils. 

Sponged the background with regular Distress inks: Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean. White dots - with a white gel pen. Cut the grass with Lawn Fawn Meadow Borders die and sponges with Twisted Citron distress ink, love this fresh and bright green color.

Covered the die cut word with Wink of stella glitter pen. Love how it look on black ❤

I absolutely love bright colors going together with nutrals.

Coloring books for card

Hello there!

Happy National Coloring Book Day! do you like coloring books? I really do, because they already have so many different motives and ideas, all is left to do - to color the images and cut them out. 

For my cards I used Coloring pad by DCWV called icons. These two cards were made specially for Chameleon blog, where you can find dwnloadable instructions.

First card I'd like to show you is a fresh pineapple trio)) these images were cut out from the coloring book as well as the sentiment which I colored with alcohol Chameleon pens. All the instructions you can find over at Chameleon blog → HERE.

My additional card was also made with coloring book images. You know, coloring pads especially by DCWV are quite thick and they will serve you forever because there are tons of images.

For this card I also used Chameleon pencils together with Chameleon pens. I love this cool smooth color transition I got with the pencils.

Each dot here covered with Nuvo Glitter drops - White Blizzard.  Looks cute and nice to the touch.

Friend Friday with Cas-ual Fridays stamps

Hello there!

So glad to share my cards I've made for Friend Friday with Cas-ual Fridays stamps and Chameleon pens. What a great event to showcase products of both brands!

I had Chameleon Color Tones Super set, Chameleon pencils

 and two stamp sets by Cas-ual Fridays stamps called Powerful Words and Mon Ami. I love these sets and use them alot!

For the flowers I used: Cornflower Blue (BL4)+Sky Blue (BL3) infused for 4-5 seconds. Warm Sunset (YO3)+Mellow Yellow (YO2) infused for 3 seconds. Bubble Gum (PK3) infused for 3-4 seconds. Dark Sage (GR2)+ Spring Meadow (YG3) infused for 2 seconds.

As for the sentiment I used black glitter embossing powder by Fabrika Decoru (ukranian manufacturer). Looks awesome, doesn't it? :)

Shaker card with hidden message ft So Suzy stamps

Hello there!

I'm all in shakermania again :)) Remember those days when I thought "Enought shaker cards, I'm done!", but now I'm here again shaking all the way :)) Shaker cards are not super suprizing thing nowadays but you can make them unique every single time by changing the concept to astonish your recipient. My concept today is to hide the message under the glitter :) The person should shake it off to the other side to read the whole message, what a fun way, right? :) This card is the best way to surprise or annoy your loved one :))

Here are the steps to create this card:

I placed all the stitched circle dies together to make several circle frames out of dark cardstock.

Here they are. I wouild need only three frames and that tiny circle.

I die cut a square panel which was slighly smaller than a cardbase and stuck all three frames together. Also adhered acetate to the back sides to make shaker elements.

Took Olesya Side Bloom, stamped it onto a separate piece of paper and colored with alcohol Chameleon pens.

Also placed the panel onto a piece of blue cardstock to tie all the elements together by color. Stamped the sentiment direcly onto a white panel where the large circle frame should be. Filled the shaker elements with clear micro beads, pearlescent and blue micro glitter. Those tiny beards helped the glitter to move better. 

There are two ways to fill the shaker: 1) to pour glitter and beads directly onto the panel and then cover them with the circle frames ( I did it) and 2) to place the circle frames face down on the table, fill it and cover with one more piece of acetate to seal it. This way you have no need eyeballing where the glitter is, it will be inside the shaker.

With glitter drops I embellished the leaves and stamens of the flower as well as that tiny blue heart.

As for the measurements, this card is 10x10 cm.

Old School photo album - update

Hello there!

Do you remember those old school photo albums? I think almost everyone had it, it considered to be a good present those days :) Nowadays, crafters are all in Project Life albums which are inherently the same as those albums. the same sleeves. So I thought why not refresh the design and use it for my a-la Project Life travelling album.  I used my alcohol Chameleon pens for it.

Penny Black and Chameleon pens Friend Friday

Hello there!

I'm so happy to announce today's Friend Friday with Penny Black over at Chameleon blog. I love this company so much for their critters, so kind, so cheerful and sincere. Especially, cats :) I'm a cat person :D  For this collab day I've prepared three projects. And was able to make much more because I found the critters super inspiring. But left several ideas for future :)

So, the very first project I'd like to share is a card with cook cats. They are just adorable, no, seriously! This is the set called "What's cooking?" (30-100).

Soo, today I'd like to share with you a card I've made for my Chameleon team, the theme is Easter. We don't make gifts or cards to celebrate it, present only dyed eggs and Easter cake. But I love the way my foreign friends celebrate it and I decided to make a card.

Cookie the cat или Лови момент

I'm so happy to have a chance to work wth this adorable image by Mo Manning called Cookie. He's absolutely amazing, I tell you, I'm obsessed with cats. And these stamps are my cup of tea :)

Прежде всего хочу поделиться радостью, что Мо Мэннинг активно рисует котов. Для меня нет большего счастья, чем раскрасить очередного пушистоногого, и к тому же такого мордастенького как Cookie (Печенька). Коты - это моя зависимость форева.

А делала я эту открытку по заданию ТМ Магия Творчества - Мартовские скрап котэ. У меня нет кота, тем более скрапового, но пропустить кошачье задание я не смогла :)
