Autumn colors with Mo

Hello there crafty friends,

Today I'm here to share with you my card made for current Mo's challenge - Autumn photo inspiration full of autumn colors. This is my most favorite theme because I'm an autumn kind of girl, love this season with all my heart :)

I used a very lovely image called Kate . I'm right into classic English novels of 19 century now and love that atmosphere, manners, words they used. So this very image seemed had come from the pages of my books. So lucky I had found her!

There's nothing hard about this card, but it looks so pretty having an image as a focal point. I just die cut several leaves out of white cardstock ( colored them with Distress inks and finger dabbers) and gold glitter cardstock. Popped up a kraft circle and the image. Added Tim Holtz Clippings Stickers which look like book scraps. Absolutely perfect for my design.

International Women's Day

Hello there!

International Woman's Day is very soon on March 8th and I try to make as many floral cards as I can) So this time I used Agiart dies to create my card.

• I sponged the background with Broken China,Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry и Chipped Sapphire distress inks.
• Sprinkled with water to get whiten splatters.
• Cut out flowers and leaves out of beautiful patterned paper by Magic Creative.
• Added a die cut tag and a sentiment.

Believe in Magic | So Suzy& Crackerbox stamps

Hello there, dear friends!

I continue my schedule with Insparation week posting  and today I'm glad to share with you a magical card. It's magical due to So Suzy & Crackerbox stamps, just look at them!

I used the following stamps: 

Stars Circle

Fairy

Don't believe

To make this card I die cut a square, sponged it with different shades of  Distress inks: Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves. Stamped Fairy and the sentiment just on top. Let it dry thoroughly  and then heat embossed the stars in gold. To make the wrds more readable I outlined them abit with a white pencil.

Day 11 | Holiday Card Series 2017 ft So Suzy Stamps

Hello there!

Today I was super buzy swatching all my inks and oxides and it took forever to complete the misssion) that's why I'm posting this late. But I know for sure that several of you are waiting for these cards and here I am:) with sparkling eyes and gratitude in my heart for all your support!

I really love today's card ( like any other) :)

I used:

Coffee stain stamp

Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink

Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink

City Scape stamp

Santa Sleigh Sm stamp

Spirit of Christmas stamp

I die cut a circle and sponged it with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink and then using the same ink stamped the Coffee stain  on top to create a moon. 

I took the panel 9,5x9,5 cm and sponged it with Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. Stamped the City Scape twice in Jet Black Archoval ink and Faded Jeans Disress Oxide ink.

I placed the city in two rows and stamped the Santa Sleigh Sm in Jet Black Archival ink across the moon. Make sure to color in those gaps where the impression isn't perfect with a black marker.

To make a blizzard i used white acrylic paint ans a small brush. For the sentiment I took PTI alphabet dies and one word from the sentiment Spirit of Christmas masking off the excess.

Day 4 | Holiday Card Series 2017

Day 4 already, yay! I want to answer your questions about this marathon first:

So today's card is made in more traditional style than the previous ones. In case you missed them< here they are:

I really love that half circle with self-adhisive pearls ❤

A bit of process:

I stamped the Pine Branch using Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink. This ink stamps perfectly leaving wet impression that you can use in your favor - like heat embossing for example. So i heat embossed the stamped images with clear fine powder by Ranger. You can leave them as they are or add a bit of ink on both side to make them darker.

Cut the circle with any circle die.

Being a big fan of solid ribbons and bows I couldn't leave this card without them :) 

For the sentiment I used From our house stamp and heat embossed it in white. It looks very striking against burgundy background. And the card is complete. All is left to do - to add some pearls.

Day 2 of the Holiday card series marathon

Hello there!

Today is day #2 of the Holiday card series marathon I have on my Instagram @olesya_kharkova . Merry Christmas Brush (sentiment)

I cut out a frame using Mama Elephant Union Square die, adhered a gray paper frame to its back side. Die cut also snow scene with Hero Arts Snowy Drifts fancy dies and adhered them together biulding steps.

For the sky I used Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire regular Distress inks. Partially stamped the Merry Christmas Brush sentiment on top.

Heat embossed in silver Sleigh and Horse image and also stamped it separately in black. Fussy cut with scissors and a kraft knife. Then adhered them together slightly shifting to show the dimension.

I also drew some falling snow with a white gel pen and using Zig glue pen and dry glitter embellished the forest and Sleigh with Horse.

"Old friend" card

Hello there!

Today I have a very funny card that fits Halloween theme as well.

I had this window in my stash for quite some time I cut several of this with scissors and sponged with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

For the purple background I used Lilac Love and Lucky Lavender So Suzy ink bites. As you can see here they blend very nicely and when sprinkled with water leave those whitened spots like Distress Oxide inks. Love this effect!

Happy Halloween card

Hello there!

Today I'm here to share with you a Halloween card using Candy Apple Witch image by Mo's digital pencil ( Mo Manning).

It's a great image to master your coloring skills with fabric folds. This one i colored with Chameleon pens and pencils.

For the background I used Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress inks to create the lawn and Dusty Concord with Black Soot Distress ink for the sky.

For the bats i used Bats Flying By stamp by Crackerbox stamps, and the sentiment is by MME HAppy Haunting set.I like very simple designs when the main goal is to attract all the attention to the colored image.

Masculine birthday card

Hello there!

I heard that many of crafters were struggling with masculine designs for their cards. I don't think that it's a big problem to make a masculine card as long as you don't think that all men cards should contain gears, or smth with techy feel, you know. For me masculine cards are the same as feminine without flowers of course and they can be the same bright and cheerful.

My friend ( a man) had his birthday a couple of months ago ( yes!! belated card) and I know for sure that he needs a very cheerful card to lift him up ( that apathism sucks).

I like my Distress Oxide inks so much but never tried Tim Holtz's favorite demo techniques with bright inky puddles. It turned out interesting. I was waiting for my parcel with all the rest Oxides to come and decided to mix Oxides i had with several regular Distress Inks. I was careful not to make mud out of it and the result was very pretty.

I used:

Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink

Fossilized Amber DistressOxide ink

Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink

Broken China Distress Oxide ink

Seedless Preserves Distress ink

I love making double shaker elements on one card, it looks very attractive.

I also like small sentiments that fit even a small square frame like this. The entire card measures 10x10cm. Love this size so much :) so you can imagine how small this sentiment is. It's Birthday stamp by Crackerbox stamps.

Bright autumn card + Video ft So Suzy stamps

Today is an awesome autumn day like any other but rain here makes it even better for me :) I wish I could share my feelings with you, and the only way to do it via my projects to inspire you and make everybody's day a bit brighter.

Happy autumn card или Осенний привет

Всем привет! Ощущение, что я сто лет по-русски тут не писала и спешу сразу же спросить, если кто-то читает, нужен ли перевод на русский? Так как я пишу в основном в зарубежных блогах, то и язык соответствующий и мне как-то стало проще сразу писать на английском. Я зачем пришла-то)) Добралась я-таки до челлендж блога Мемуарис, сколько раз порывалась принять участие в их заданиях и все никак, но на этот раз пройти просто не могла, вы только посмотрите на этот скетч ( фото в самом низу) № 41. Там же круги! Для меня круги, как для кота коробка.

Autumn is so inspiring so I made cards every single day and so happy about that! This time I was super inspired by the sketch challenge #41 ( pic of the sketch is down below) at Memuaris blog. That was my fave design team I was on and have only warm feelings to it. You know I love circles so i just couldn't pass by :)

По скетчу у меня получилась открытка - шейкер с тремя окошками и плоскими пайетками.  Люблю их нежно, они совсем крошечные и плоские, как раз для одного слоя вспененного скотча. Купила я их, кстати, как раз в Мемуарисе. Вообще с Мемуарисом меня связывают самые теплые воспоминания и несколько сезонов потрясающей работы в коллективе ❤

It's a skaker card with three windows filled with tiny flat gold sequins.

А сейчас немного про открытку :) Нижний слой - бумага для скрапбукинга, я полагаю, из Италии от моей подруги по американской команде. Она очень тонкая, похожа на нашу бумагу для оригами. Но принты совершенно потрясающие, такие осенние с птичками. Мне нравится! Ножи с листьями от Fantasy, не могу нарадоваться покупке, давно хотела себе всякие листья осенние. Так же затонировала края дистресс чернилами Walnut Stain.

The bottom layer was an autumn themed thin paper I got from my friend from Italy - Giada ❤ It's of very light beautiful blue color to represent autumn air and sky. It seems my fave color combo for autumn cards - bright + blue + kraft. Feel very cozy about that :) I also sponged the edges of the panel as well as the circles with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. 

А вот и сам скетч, прекрасен, правда? Я уже глаз положила на другое задание с овощами там же в Мемуарисе, но загадывать пока не буду :)

Coffee cats ft The Ton stamps

Hello there, crafty friends!

Several days ago I came across very inspiring mood board over at The Ton challenge blog and this idea with coffee cats suddenly appeared in my head.

I have only two stamp sets by the Ton but it didn't stop me from entering the challenge as long as I used Love and a Cat stamp set images for my focal triange, so to speak :) Colored the cats with alcohol Chameleon pens.

For the coffee cup I used Maya Road Enjoy Coffee die set and Crackerbox stamps Hello. I also die cut several leaves and sponged them with Wild Honey and Barn Door Distress inks.
