Halloween release #2 BlOG HOP| Crackerbox & Suzy stamps

Hello there, dear friends!

Today's a blog hop to celebrate a new Halloween release. It's full of very different images, so I think, everyone will find smth for oneself.

You know, I like the vibrant contrasting cards with lots of details. This card is not an exception :) There's smth mysterious in Halloween card and truly love making them. For this particular card I used:

Bats Flying By 

Cauldron

Toil and Trouble

Steps to make this card:

• Stamp the Cauldron with any grey ink to be not too dark. 
• Mask the Cauldron off. I used regular printer paper and a glue pen.
• Sponge the background with Broken China, Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink, add "Juniper Mist"  inking by Catherine Pooler and darken up the edges with Black Soot Distress Oxide ink.
• Color the Cauldron with markers and pencils you like, I did with Chameleon pens and pencils.
• Stamp the sentiment and the bats.
• Ink the edges of the card base with Jet Black Archival ink, let it dry for some minutes and place the panel on top using double-sided tape.

Hold on to your Hat

Hello there!

I was busy for a week or so with all sorts of different things that I completely forgot to write posts. But I do make cards very regularly and you can see various projects on my Instagram, it's more convenient these days. Today's Halloween and I'd like to share with you this Halloweeny card.

I used Hold on to your Hat digi stamp by Mo's digital pencil colored with Chameleon pens.

Made the background with Distress inks like Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves as well as Juniper Mist ink by Catherine Pooler. 

Spritzed the background with super sparkly Sheer Shimmer craft spray - Sparkle by Imagine.

Halloween challenge | Crackerbox & Suzy stamps

Hello there crafty friends!
It's time for me to show you what I have created for our current challenge - Halloween ( or Anything Goes as you wish). I adore Halloween so much and happy to start making Halloween cards even in summer :)

I used: 

Potion Bottle Lg ( I designed for Crackerbox&Suzy stamps)

Midnight Sky glitter drops by Nuvo

• I die cut the letters using my Alpha dies by PTI, popped up a panel with foam tape. 
• Added google eyes for a funnier look.
• Stamped a Potion Bottle and colored it with Chameleon pens. Added highlights with white gouache and a tiny brush.
• Squeezed tons of Midnight Sky drops to complete the design.

Crackerbox & Suzy stamps Release!

Hello there crafty friends,

It's such a great day for me and very important as we have a new release over at Crackerbox & Suzy stamps where the Halloween part is designed by me. I drew these images almost a year ago and was dreaming of having them in rubber stamps. So here they are, freshly cut and indexed rubber stamps :) Can't thank Vicky Briggs enough for this chance. Morning Dew drops by Nuvo

• I found some old but good patterned paper by DCWV called The Immortal Love,
• Cut it slightly smaller than a card base to have that white border all around.
• Stamped my images and colored with Chameleon pens and pencils. covered with Wink of Stella.
• Heat embossed the sentiment in white.
• Cut out the inner parts of the Pumpkin Smiling and after popping it up with some foam tape, I added a couple of googling eyes.
• Dew Drops as a finishing touch.

Halloween card

Hello there!

It's officaially my last halloween card this year and this one went to my husband yesterday. I love making card for him especially with different cute images and what is more important he loves these cards, no gears and muddy cards with cars or smth "man" theme ( I don't understand muddy cards) but with critters and funny images. To tell you a secret he agreed to make a card with me like a mini individual class :)) It will be funny!

I made this card using  Bowl / Globe & Cork stamp by So Suzy stamps ( of my design), Booyah set by Lawn Fawn. Colored the ghosts with very cheap watercolor pencils (i bought them long time ago when i just started coloring) and I'm pleased with the result. That was a challenge for myself to prove that only practice made sense not materials should be on the first place.

Now to the funniest part: i wanted to make a bubbling cauldron, for that I used Morning Dew Nuvo drops  on the back side of the cauldron right on the acetate and sprinkled it with green powder watercolor, the drops were wet and reacted with watercolor powder perfectly. Put it aside to dry completely ( it took an hour or so) and then filled the shaker with green dry glitter.

"Old friend" card

Hello there!

Today I have a very funny card that fits Halloween theme as well.

I had this window in my stash for quite some time I cut several of this with scissors and sponged with Walnut Stain Distress ink.

For the purple background I used Lilac Love and Lucky Lavender So Suzy ink bites. As you can see here they blend very nicely and when sprinkled with water leave those whitened spots like Distress Oxide inks. Love this effect!

Happy Halloween card

Hello there!

Today I'm here to share with you a Halloween card using Candy Apple Witch image by Mo's digital pencil ( Mo Manning).

It's a great image to master your coloring skills with fabric folds. This one i colored with Chameleon pens and pencils.

For the background I used Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress inks to create the lawn and Dusty Concord with Black Soot Distress ink for the sky.

For the bats i used Bats Flying By stamp by Crackerbox stamps, and the sentiment is by MME HAppy Haunting set.I like very simple designs when the main goal is to attract all the attention to the colored image.

Guest Designing at Aurora Wings

Hello there, crafty friends!
So sorry smth went wrong and all my text disappeared(( But here I am again telling you a great news that I'm a guest designer over at Aurora Wings challenge blog. You know how I love Mitzi's digital stamps and her sprite collection in particular. But today's card is a little bit different and so happy to announce the theme - challenge #59 Darkness Falls.

For this card I used Young Witch and a Cat image. Colored it with alcohol Chameleon pens and pencils.

Added my fave white gel pen and Honey Gold glitter nuvo drops.

 I love this Halloween card so much! And Thank you Mitzi for inviting me, it was a true pleasure to color this image!

Halloween party ft So Suzy stamps

Hello there, dear stampers!
Today I'd like to share with you a Halloween card using So Suzy and CrackerBox stamps. It's legal as it's one company now))

The materials I used:

Haunted House on hill

Bats Flying By

Halloween Kids

You're Invited

Angel Wings Ink Bite

Peacock Feathers Distress Ink

Salty Ocean Distress Ink

Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink

Jet Black Archival ink

Chameleon pens (alcohol markers)

Stamped the House onto a separate piece of paper.

Drew a hill under the house and colored it in with a black marker. Cut it out lwaving white borders all around.

Masked off the moon with a circle, sponged the sky with Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean and Chippid Sapphire Distress Inks. Partially sta,ped the Halloween Kids to make them going on both sides of the house.

Foam mounted the house on hill and the card was done!

Halloween Corpse Bride

Hello there!

Do you like Halloween cards? I adore them even though we don't celebrate Halloween in Russia I love making these cards for those who do :) my friends abroad. I love them not because I'm already on the dark side)) but for being a bit naughty, funny, spooky but cute. 

So this time I was inspired by my beloved Tim Burton and his Corpse Bride to make this card. I used Garden Bride image by Mo's digital Pencil (pre-shaded version) and colored it with Chameleon pens.

For the background I used Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord and Black Soot Distress inks.

I also used a couple of stamps: bats - Bats Flying By by Crackerbox Stamps and the sentiment by MME Happy Haunting.

Mo's dream team Blog Hop - Halloween

Hi everyone!!

It's that exciting time of the month again for a Mo's Dream Team blog hop and this time it's a Halloween theme picked by our lovely Debby.

I've prepared a Halloween card using Pumpkins image and colored with Chameleon pens. 

It's more funny than scary, I hope :) With a kraft knife I cut some face expressions and the area underneath covered with orange glitter as well as the borders around the black panel. For some more details I found my old MME set - Happy Haunting and took the spider web, the sentiment and the witch hat. I like cutting, you know and cut the speech bauble with scissors.
